This Presentation will be rescheduled for a later date due to Covid restrictions on having meetings.
Join us a Dennis presents “Tales of Natural History and Early Fly Fishing on the Columbia River.” This unique presentation will entertain with readings from Native American spoken mythology, explorer journals, and 19th-century angling lore. These early lessons in natural history help inform how changes to the landscape have led to the fish community we know today.

Dauble retired from Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in 2009 after 35+ years as a fisheries scientist. He is author of an award-winning natural history guidebook Fishes of the Columbia Basin and three short-story collections, including his most recent: Bury Me With My Fly Rod.
