Hello members and guests,
It is May and the weather is beginning to show signs of promise with sun and clearer skies. Time to spend enjoying the splendor and beauty of Oregon and the Pacific Northwest.
We have two events scheduled in May and I encourage everyone to participate. During our May 10th monthly dinner meeting, John and Monica Wall will be taking us on a wonderful journey on the McKenzie river for fly fishing opportunities and all other treats the river has to offer. Jim Hillas, our Program Chair, is doing a great job finding wonderful monthly speakers.
The Annual Flyfishers’ Club Auction and Keith Hansen Memorial Paddle Raise will run online from May 15th 8 p.m. to May 21st at 8 p.m. There will be incredible items for your bidding pleasure. Keep you eye on your emails form more information on the upcoming May events.
The Keith Hansen Paddle Raise helps continue our conservation and research work.
Our all volunteer Club and Foundation has awarded over $463,000 in conservation grants!! Thank you everyone. We are ONLY $37,000 from the half-million contribution goal. We can make this happen!!
