I spent this rainy 1st of February at my bench with a quiet day of tying Chironomid Midges. It was a good day for me to reflect on my time as club president. I have many fond memories of these past 3 years and most all of them involve many of you. I have taken time to read back in the past issues of the Creel the stories and photos of the beginning years in the 1960’s. What a time it was. The ‘mad men era’ looked like a time of friends, laughter, cocktails and fly fishing. Our club certainly has a great history and one we can all be proud of. I am looking forward to seeing where our next president will guide us. I am honored and appreciative that I was elected to serve. I feel I have gained more than I have given. Unexpectedly, my love of fly fishing has lead me down a path of many new friendships that I am grateful for. I look forward to spending more time on the water with many of you for years to come.
My best to you,
Teri
