Membership Chair, Rick Pay, has spent considerable time “cleaning up” our membership roster as we transitioned to the new website. It turns out our current active membership includes 120 regular members, 21 associate members, and 7 non-resident members. We had 6 new members join at the Annual Auction in May. Thank you all for your continued interest and support!!
Your FCO Board established a membership subcommittee at last month’s Board Meeting. The subcommittee will look at past efforts and data (including the 2016 member survey) in order to devise a plan to increase membership and engagement in the Club. Subcommittee members are Ken Betschart, Chris Pay, Harold Weight, and Christian Werner. If you have ideas and/or want to get involved in this effort, please contact Ken Betschart.
Finally, we want to acknowledge Joe and Suzette Palanuk of Wolfpk for their years of service building and managing the first FCO website. They helped move us into the digital age and kept members informed of our meetings and events. They were instrumental in transitioning the Flyline from paper to an online newsletter. All those changes meant we could reach more members. Thanks Joe and Suzette!
