New FCO Treasurer Joins Board

Member Kevin Quinn has graciously agreed to assume the FCO Treasurer position after John Bailey recently stepped down. A big THANK YOU to John for his detailed accounting of FCO financials and his guidance over the years. Kevin steps in to a well organized position. Welcome Kevin!

Felton Jenkins with Sandy River AK Chromer

Wow! That’s a Great Fish!

Your Flyfisher Foundation Treasurer, Felton Jenkins, sent this amazing pic from his recent trip to the Sandy River in Alaska. He may have more to say about it later! But the pic is definitely worth at least 1,000 words!

Rich Fitterer with Deschutes Beauty

Not to be Outdone!

Rich Fitterer had a most excellent day fishing with Matt Mendes on the Warm Springs Reservation last month. Check out those awesome adipose fins!

Your FCO and FFF Boards Are Busy Planning for the Future

Changes in our culture and those who pursue our favorite sport are prompting us to look at the future of our Club and Foundation. COVID has been tough on many non-profits groups and clubs like ours. Recruiting new members was challenging before COVID and our membership has been declining, either because new members do not stay on or, regretfully, others pass on. Yet we will not stand idle and allow our nearly 62 year-old Club fade into memory. We have energy and creativity on our boards and in our membership and we are putting that energy to work! Keep in touch with your board members, read the Flyline, and give us your ideas for keeping our Club vital and growing membership. Look to the Member Matters page to stay informed – and we hope we see your name here too!
