If you haven’t tried fly fishing for bass, you’re likely to change your mind after this presentation by local fly shop owner and friend of the Club, Jack Hagan. Inch for inch (or pound for pound) bass can offer as much fun on the fly as our beloved trout, with the advantage of being more aggressive (i.e., not picky or leader-shy).

Jack will discuss the tactics, gear and habitat needed to successfully target bass with a fly rod in Oregon’s Willamette Valley.  A long time friend and supporter of the Flyfisher’s Club of Oregon, Jack owns Northwest Flyfishing Outfitters in NE Portland. In addition to managing the store, Jack has been guiding Oregon’s premier wild fish waters since 1996. Jack has fished all over the West, Florida, Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean and the South Seas.
