I am humbled and honored to become President of your Club, the Club’s 61st year.
The Flyfisher’s Club of Oregon is once again holding in person monthly dinner programs. The March program will be Salmon and Steelhead Fishing from a Dory by Rob Perkin, owner, and operator of “Connect Outfitters.”
The FCO Board members are looking forward to a “normal” year. Normal does not mean boring. The outgoing President, Jim Hillas, has assumed the role of Program Director. Under Jim’s guidance the Club will be organizing several outdoors fishing events to compliment our monthly programs and annual picnic.
Much of the Club’s work is accomplished by the Board members and Program Chairs. The Club is your Club to guide. The FCO would not be entering it’s 61st year without all the support and help from its members.
The Club is looking for members to become involved in the various committees.
I would like to say “thank you” to those members who have stepped up to be part of the committees.
This is your Club to guide, as President I will reach out to each member to hear your thoughts, ideas and yes, gripes.
