Summer Heat Means Check Your Thermometer!
Your stream thermometer. We are in the middle of our dry season and rivers are heating up just like we are. On July 26th the Deschutes hit 73F and overnight the water only dipped to 68F at Moody. Maupin is forecast to reach 108F this week. Too hot to fish! Please check the forecast before you head out and take care to protect yourselves from the heat as well.
