FCO Auction Raises over $37,000!
Club members and friends signed up for our on-line auction to support the North Umpqua Coalition’s project to get more native summer steelhead in the North Umpqua River. Your generous contributions and competitive bidding resulted in our most successful on-line auction ever.
The auction included the Keith Hansen Memorial Paddle Raise ($20,950); Raffle for a box of spectacular spirits, gift certificate and goodies ($1,500); bids on 21 items including fishing trips, vacation venues, high-end wines, food events and a second box of spectacular spirits and goodies ($13,054); and the ORVIS partnership with the Flyfisher Foundation, raising funds through their “Great Giveback Days” campaign ($1,800), with a grand total of $37,304!*
We have so many people to appreciate and thank!
Starting with a big “Thank You” to Brian Silvey, our Honorary Co-Chair, who is a great guide and a committed conservationist. He did a terrific job with his message on conservation, and his request to support the Flyfisher Foundation and grantee project.
