Salmonberry Trail Open House

We’d like to invite you to attend this special open house for the Salmonberry Trail. Our Club will have an information table at the event as part of our outreach for new members. We’ve been following the trail’s development as it relates to access for fishing and protecting the waters we love to fish, especially the Salmonberry and Nehalem Rivers.
Please join us this Saturday, Sept. 27th in Buxton.
This is a good opportunity to keep track of the trail’s current status, meet the people involved, mingle with our members, and experience the trail and Dairy Creek (one of the many waterways the trail traverses on its way to the ocean).
Date: Saturday, September 27,
Time: 2:00 – 4:00 pm.
Public Coast Farm will provide light refreshments, and the trail’s partners, history, and flora and fauna will be discussed.
Feel free to reach out to Caroline Fitchett at 503.888.1233
(call or text) with any questions.
The schedule is:
- 2:00 – 3:00: Socializing
- Updates on near-term segments and partnerships (starting at 3 PM)
- How the trail supports adjacent businesses like Public Coast Farm
- Light snacks and refreshments (family-friendly)
- A short guided walk on the rail corridor (closed-toe shoes recommended)
Family is welcome!
Please click here to register so they can track attendance and be prepared.
