Description: Fly fishing equipment basics: rod types, weights and possible uses, reels and balance, lines, and leaders as related to rod weight and species pursued. Continued equipment discussion with vest and contents, wading safety ti include: waders and wader types, wading belt, boots and traction devices, wading staff, net, emphasis on wading safety including floatation vest. (With time review and practice casting basics)
