Spring Greetings from The Fly Fishers Club of Oregon
Hello everyone,
It is springtime in Oregon! For many, it brings blossoms and warmer weather; for others, it means fishing in warmer and sunnier conditions.
At the February meeting, the FCO members elected the 2025 Board of Directors:

• Vice President: Ken Gustafson

• Treasurer: Kevin Quinn
At Large Directors:

• Steve Meyers
We welcome Amy Bogran and Steve Meyers to the Board. Their fresh perspectives and ideas will be invaluable.
The Club is looking forward to an exciting 2025. The Membership Committee, under the excellent leadership of Paul Franklin and Stan Chesshir, has brought in approximately 25 new members in the past year.
The Program Committee, led by the dynamic team of Caroline Fitchett, Paul Franklin, and Jerry Swanson, has not only secured a fantastic lineup for 2025 but is already working on 2026! Be sure to sign up for our April 8th event featuring renowned photographer Brian O’Keefe.
Kevin Quinn has done an outstanding job with website updates. The website will become a go-to destination for information on FCO’s planned programs, local fly shops, and affiliated conservation groups.
We are always looking for motivated members to help on our committees: Membership, Programs, and Communications.
Foundation News:
We are delighted to announce a generous donation of $25,000 from an anonymous donor. This unexpected contribution to the Fly Fisher Foundation will significantly enhance our mission. It will allow us to consider target grants, including education from outstanding presenters, conservation grants, and scientific research.
