Late Season Fishing Report from the D

Rich Fitterer sent this brief report along with impressive pictures from a productive day on the Deschutes.

I managed to hook and land two really nice summer steelhead, a 13 lb. and a 35+” 18 lb. buck on a 10’ sink tip and my BlueMax Hobo. I was fishing with Matt Mendes on the Reservation. Both were Idaho hatchery fish that made their way up the Deschutes probably because PGE turned on a little more cold water in August.
