We’ll also assist with fitting you for waders and boots if needed.\nOn-the-Water Session (8 Hours): This practical segment focuses on rod rigging\, casting techniques\, reading the water\, and advanced entomology. You’ll develop skills in casting\, fishing with dry flies\, and nymph fishing.\n\n \nClass Locations and Scheduling \nMost classes take place on the Deschutes River near Maupin\, Oregon. However\, we may relocate to the McKenzie River near Eugene if weather conditions necessitate it. Please note that we typically avoid the Deschutes River from mid-July to late August due to high water temperatures. \nFishing License Requirement \nA valid fishing license is required for participation in our classes.
