Proudly brought to you by iFishiBelong\, this inclusive event invites everyone to participate\, whether you’re a seasoned angler or just starting out. \nThe weekend format allows you to venture out on your own to fish daily and then come together in the evenings to share fishing tales and experiences. Whether you prefer camping\, booking a cabin or hotel\, or hiring a guide\, we share resources to accommodate all budgets and preferences\, ensuring everyone can enjoy the experience. Join us in Maupin for a weekend of camaraderie\, adventure\, and memories to last a lifetime! \nFor any questions or if you’d like to borrow equipment\, reach out to us at events@ifishibelong.org We look forward to sharing this fishing adventure with you! \nLet iFishiBelong guide your exploration of new locations and rivers by participating in the 2025 Oregon fishing event.  Your registration includes: \n\niFishiBelong Cling Mag Grab Magnetic Fly Patch: The high strength magnet on this magnetic fly patch allows for over a dozen flies to be attached without a problem\, and is strong enough to hold a variety of hand tools\, such as forceps\, nippers\, or pliers to allow for quick and easy access when they are needed most.\nTroutfest: Live music Friday 5/30/25\, informative clinics\, delicious food and refreshing beer.  We’ve deliberately aligned our Oregon event with the Deschutes River Alliance (DRA) Troutfest\, offering everyone the chance to participate\, learn from industry experts\, and celebrate the Deschutes River together.\nInteractive Live Q&A Session 4/22/25: Questions will be addressed during our live Q&A session featuring event hosts\, local guides\, and fly shops specific to the Oregon event.\n“Summer Trout Fishing Techniques” Recorded Online Course: Tune into the “Summer Trout Fishing Techniques” online course at your convenience from any location. This session will ensure you arrive in Oregon well-prepared and equipped with new knowledge on summer fishing.\n2hr Donation-Based “Fishing the Deschutes River” Workshop Opportunity – We’ve reviewed the 2024 survey results and understand that attendees of the DIY Fishing events are looking for more hands-on education.  With your registration\, you can register for the 2-hour donation-based workshop covering the essentials: reading water\, approaching the river based on your technique\, matching the hatch\, and setting up your leader for the best success.\nNightly Social Evenings:  Every evening\, gather for evening social time\, where you can share fishing stories and connect at various locations hosted by iFishiBelong and local venues.\nSocial Fishing Day on Friday:  Geared towards communal angling\, Friday presents the ideal opportunity to embark on a water adventure with newly made friends. Departing in the morning\, we’ll fish the Deschutes River for half the day. Please note that it is subject to a permit approval from the BLM and your fishing license and travel are not included.\nLocation and Fishing Research: iFishiBelong has simplified your exploration of visiting and fishing the famous Deschutes River in Oregon.  We’ve done the preliminary research on the area\, compiled links to relevant travel and fishing blogs\, provided guidance on fishing gear and fly choices\, and mapped out several fishing spots\, focusing primarily on DIY walk and wade fishing opportunities.  While there’s still some legwork for each angler\, a significant portion of the groundwork has been laid out for you.\nDedicated Co-Hosts Focusing on Education\, Community and Fun\nCommitment to Support Local Businesses and Highlight Women and Underrepresented Owners and Guides in the Region\nGiving Back: The registration fee directly supports iFishiBelong’s mission of providing affordable opportunities for individuals of varying financial means through the organization of various cost-effective events and trips.\n\nTake advantage of this incredible opportunity to learn\, socialize\, and fish on the Deschutes River.
