DESCRIPTION:We’d like to invite you to attend this special open house for the Salmonberry Trail. Our Club will have an information table at the event as part of our outreach for new members. The fun starts when the doors open at 10:00. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBlind Casting Contest\nStarting at 11:00 \nWhile everyone loves casting dry flies to rising trout\, most of the time we find ourselves blind casting and hoping for the best. Now\, those skills can win you some awesome prizes! We’ll kick off our infamous “Blind Casting Contest\,” where participants are guided by the crowd in hopes of hitting the targets and scoring the most points. We have Royal Treatment Gift Cards for the top three scores. You don’t have to be good to win\, you just have to try. First place takes home $125!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIt’s all about the Cake!\nCake cutting at 11:30\nTraditions\, especially when it comes to celebrations\, normally center around some sort of food\, and here at RoyalTreatment\, we are no different. At our grand opening celebration 15 years ago\, we served up an incredible cake from our neighbors at Market of Choice here in West Linn\, and that tradition continues. \nAdditionally\, our business is built on relationships with our customers and suppliers. One relationship that started years before RoyalTreatment was even a thought was with our favorite Simms Fishing Product retailer liaison\, Pandy Scoggins. Pandy is based in Bozeman and has been my friendly voice on the phone for over 25 years. So\, when it came time to celebrate the opening of my own shop\, the first thing I did was slice off a big piece of cake and overnight it to Pandy\, along with forks and napkins\, of course. That tradition continued for each of the next 14 years. This year\, we won’t be shipping cake to Bozeman\, because Pandy will be here to cut it! She has been scaling back her working hours\, and as part of her “Farewell Tour\,” we’ve convinced management to let her join the celebration in person. Come give Pandy a big Royal Treatment Welcome!

DESCRIPTION:About NW Expo\n\n\nSponsored by… \nThe Oregon Council of Fly Fishers International\, Inc. \nThe inaugural Northwest Fly Tyer Expo took place in Eugene\, Oregon\, in 1989 with the aim of bringing together fly-fishing enthusiasts and fly tyers to craft lifelike imitations of fish’s natural food sources using materials like feathers\, fur\, and thread and to exchange valuable knowledge. Due to its increasing popularity\, the event outgrew its original venue and had to be relocated to a larger facility. In 2007\, the expo found its new home at the Linn County Expo Center in Albany\, Oregon\, and also expanded to include a dedicated fly fishing education component. \nFifteen Northwest Expos later (minus two years due to COVID-19)\, the event has expanded to encompass a significant portion of the western region. Exhibitors now not only sell products but also educate attendees on how to support the fly fishing industry. The event has evolved to include Fly Tying\, Fly Fishing\, Casting\, Youth Participation\, and Conservation Education as integral components. \nThe NW Expo offers a comprehensive experience for anyone interested in fly fishing. DESCRIPTION:About NW Expo\n\n\nSponsored by… \nThe Oregon Council of Fly Fishers International\, Inc. \nThe inaugural Northwest Fly Tyer Expo took place in Eugene\, Oregon\, in 1989 with the aim of bringing together fly-fishing enthusiasts and fly tyers to craft lifelike imitations of fish’s natural food sources using materials like feathers\, fur\, and thread and to exchange valuable knowledge. Due to its increasing popularity\, the event outgrew its original venue and had to be relocated to a larger facility. In 2007\, the expo found its new home at the Linn County Expo Center in Albany\, Oregon\, and also expanded to include a dedicated fly fishing education component. \nFifteen Northwest Expos later (minus two years due to COVID-19)\, the event has expanded to encompass a significant portion of the western region. Exhibitors now not only sell products but also educate attendees on how to support the fly fishing industry. The event has evolved to include Fly Tying\, Fly Fishing\, Casting\, Youth Participation\, and Conservation Education as integral components. \nThe NW Expo offers a comprehensive experience for anyone interested in fly fishing. This event brought people to Oregon from Idaho\, Montana\, California\, Canada and beyond but it ended in 2020. \nIn 2025 Mia and Marty\, who run Little Creek Outfitters\, a year around guide service\, had the vision to bring back the Clave. With the support of the on-line magazine\, Swing the Fly\, the Fly Fishers Foundation\, Treager Grills\, On Point Banking and over 40 exhibitors and 20 presenters from the industry\, and over 325 people attending each day\, the clave was a huge success! \nWe are thrilled to continue the tradition and make this event for everyone to come together and have a good time\, meet industry professionals and guides\, talk about spey casting and fishing\, meet new people\, and build a community of stewards for our rivers\, fish and future generations. \n\nBeginner Spey Casting Class April 24th\, 2026\n\n$30.00\n\n\n\nThis is a 2 hour class for beginners with little to no experience.
